Where Angels Fear To Tread...

And Fortune Favours The Bold...

Hey y’all; I guess you’ve come to find out more about me?

You could say I’m a bit of an enigma - but only to those who don’t know me well.

After travelling the world, I hope to become a features writer for Empire, National Geographic, or a political journalist for BBC News - watch out, Andrew Marr!

Proud member of BAJO2!

*grins* I love anime, and manga. Yes, they’re two very different things, but they rock my world. Right up there at the top, is Card Captor Sakura, closely followed by Fruits Basket. Yep, *laughs*, I’m a shojo girl at heart - although I wouldn’t say no to a good, old, healthy dose of shonen. Getbackers, anyone?

My other major passion in life is comics. For years, the works of Marvel and DC have been battling for my allegiance. Whilst Marvel has some absolutely fantastic characters, the darkness of DC’s world has a dangerously alluring appeal.

It’s impossible for me to pick a favourite Robin; Grayson has the charm, Todd, the attitude, and Drake…well, he has the skills!

I use up the dregs of my spare time by reading - I’m pretty open genre wise, although I’ve got a soft spot for fantasy, adventure, and sci-fi -, writing, and listening to music. My tastes range from punk and rock to jazz, classical, and Latino.

Movies play a huge part in my life. “The Great Escape” rocks my socks - the greatest movie I have ever seen. Almost running parallel, are “The Shawshank Redemption”, “The Lord of the Rings Trilogy”, “The Lion King”, and “Aladdin”. “Battle Royale” should have been Kinji Fukasaku’s swansong.

My motto is: Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there.

Sometimes I win. Sometimes I lose. But I'm never going to stop trying - and one day, I will make it.

Well, that’s me in a nutshell - see y’all around!

Later Days!

Quote of the Week: "Is there a reason you didn't consult us when you decided to form your own civilization?" - Sayid, "House of the Rising Sun", "Lost"

I was so happy when you smiled

Your smile breaks through the clouds of grey

Far from the sunny days that lie in sleep

Waiting with patience for the Spring

When the flowers will bloom renewed again

Knowing there's more beyond the pain of today

Although the scars of yesterday remain

You can go on living as much as your heart believes

You can't be born again, although you can change

Let's stay together, always.

Jen-Jen is a bit of an enigma - and a loud one at that! A proud member of BAJO1, she wants to be a famous writer, and is determined to make sure people remember her name. DC Comics rock her socks, and she also digs manga. A quote hogger, Jen-Jen spends her days scribbling lines from movies into her little checkered book...even if her friends think she's weird because of it!
Strengths: Can be thought of as bubbly, and loves her friends and family more than anything else in the world. Without her imagination, Jen-Jen would be an empty shell.
Weaknesses: Bishonen. Or, more specifically, five particular bishonen, who go by the names of Wood, Monaghan, Phoenix, Depp, and Wenham. She's also a Battle Royale fangirl - which may or may not be considered healthy!
Special Skills: Smiling. Trying. Dreaming. Procrastinating. Laughing. Analysing.
Weapons: Jen-Jen is quite a docile person in general, and doesn't like to use violence. However, she has a quick temper, and often uses her prodding stick to keep people in check. She also keeps a hatchet in her back pocket for those days when she's feeling extremely volatile.
She'll Swear By The Line: "Whether they are bandits or traders, once they die, they are just corpses."
